** Christmas Tree festival **

Hello there - Last weekend was the Christmas Tree festival at Brighstone on the Isle of Wight, so some of our knit n natter ladies set off with their crochet baubles, stars and snowflakes to decorate our tree as part of the festival.  Our tree was to be in Mottistone church - the next village on to Brighstone.

Ta-dah - here is our lovely crocheted covered tree with
65 baubles, stars and snowflakes

12 year old Holly who came along to one of our sessions made these
3 beauties - they are fabulous and she even added a bow to one of them!!

We wandered around the church looking at the other trees

Off we went down the road to Brighstone for Coral to do her tree for
St George's Special School

There was a lace tree and these three exquisite ornaments were on there

We spotted this lovely handmade tapestry on the wall which particularly caught our eye

Because Barbara is the wife of our resident photographer at our Medina parkrun
each week and it was lovely to see that Barbara was involved with this lovely tapestry

One last look back as we leave

Thanks for popping by
