** Hectic November **

Hello there - well there has been a lot going on around here. We had a trip to the mainland a couple of weeks ago - take a stroll down Ryde Pier with us

This rusty old tram rail isn't used any more but in the background the train line is

Look at this lovely old shelter
(I used to go fishing out from there when I was a child)

Looking back to the island when walking down to catch the catamaran

Lovely ornate railings

Looking on down to the pier head and the mainland in the distance

The train station from where the old London underground train will take you
to
 Ryde, Brading, Sandown or Shanklin

When we arrived in Portsmouth they had started to demolish this building

Beautiful Autumnal colours in the park

When we got back to Portsmouth this was all that was left of the building

Hubby heard that he had to travel across the water to Southampton for an op on the 12th November (he has been waiting since January to get this done) so we were pleased at last to have a date.  I asked the week before if we could sort out our spare bedroom, come junk room into a "craft room" and the answer was yes.  So with the operation looming fast off we went - choosing cupboards and work tops and several trips to different DIY shops to get things sorted.

I forgot to take any pics apart from this one before we started
but this mess

Now looks like this
(we were going to take the shelves down but decided to keep them)

and so we started
(book shelves, computer desk, computer chair, computer tower - all out)
one empty room to be sorted

and finally within three days of starting it was all finished
I needed a new chair!!
OOOOOOoooooohhhhhh how I love my craft room

Thanks for popping by

This minion set (hat and fingerless mitts)
which I made to put into the shoe box appeal for children in Romania to have a few gifts to open on Christmas morning

I made this for my grandson O when he came to see me one day after school

These for Halloween

This got finished for my friend Debbie
