$6 a minute = over $300 for an hour ride round -
which is how long they said a tour would take.
That's why we walked around the park
The miniature sauce bottles brought with our lunch - how cute
After leaving the park and crossing W59th St to head up 5th Ave - you have the Plaza Hotel
and a real life NYPD car - oh wow how I loved that car.
(I used to watch NYPD blue on the telly)
We were in New York from the 1st December, hence the Christmas lights
Look at those for giant candy canes! (not the candy canes you could eat)
Tiffany & Co
Harry Winston Department Store
What's going on here??
Ahh they were opposite here as word had it -
HE was in there
We crossed the road and in we went
More press and media inside.
Your bags were x-rayed for anything suspicious you may have in them.
All very garish, gaudy and over the top.
Out we came and carried on up Fifth Ave
Tommy Hilfiger
Cartier - This was my favourite
Saks Fifth Avenue Department Store
Entrance walkway to the Rockefeller Centre
Rockefeller Centre
Hiding in amongst the foliage was this little chap
Loved these tights
Window display
This owl opened her wings to reveal her babies
On down the road and round the corner, we came across this building which is used for basketball, ice hockey, pro wrestling, boxing, concerts and there is also a theatre.
On the day we were passing there was an ice hockey game going on, so in we went for a look around
This is a model of the arena - we didn't have tickets so couldn't go in
lots of security
New York Rangers were playing
We spotted this lovely church opposite
Madison Square Garden
On up the road and look what we could see - more about this another day!!!!!!!
